Me, Myself, and I

Hi! I am Cylord Joy G. Palahang. I'm 17 years old. I graduated from a science high school in Taguig.
In that school, I used to be the captain of its Taekwondo Club. I love my duty there. I train new recruits. It was fun sharing my knowledge to them and seeing them apply the things I've taught to them is like an award.
I'm not really the one who chose Taekwondo as my sport, it was my father. Of course, at first I didn't agree of training because who would have want to be kicked in the face instead of just playing toys in the house? I'm anti-violence.But because I'm a good boy and was too scared of my dad that time, I didn't have a choice.
I cursed every training I had. I feel like going to hell every week. Back then, I didn't know why many people loved that sport even though most of them had their nose bleeding, got their front teeth wiped out and had black eyes. Why would my papa let me enter in this thing? He's reason was only because he wanted me to learn  how to protect myself. Well I thought it as a valid reason so I continued. In my almost 10 years of training, I also found some time to enjoy it. Just simply because I have friends there. I am friendly especially to those I'm comfortable to be with. I never like to hang-out to those who are so boastful and prone in violence because as I said, I am a non-violent guy.
When I became a black belter, that was the only time I loved Taekwondo because aside of not having my body kicked, I also had the chance to teach. One of my favorite things to do is to teach. It feels like I could be part of one's success and for me, I don't see the reason of learning things and not sharing it. Everytime we learn something, we should always share this to other people because no matter how small or big it is, it can still change one's life.
This sport has boosted my confidence.Because at first, I had lacked of self confidence. But Taekwondo made me realized that I can surpass difficult and hurtful things. It prepared me for the extreme battle in the world. That's why I'm forever grateful that Taekwondo became a part of my life.
